If I was trying to defend them, I could say that putting pictures of people/leaders on your website is a good way to put a human face on the slightly-scary church thing.

The acid tests are:

1. How open are they in their forum?
.... eh ... have they got an open forum? ... Would they dare?

2. Does the leadership feel secure enough to work without recourse to much censorship?

3. Would they endorse the "Open Gospel" .. that is, that the Gospel is a freely diffusing message that is well beyond the control of any one Christian cultural realisation of that message?

4. Are they the play thing of affectation and cultural narcissism? - "I'm Jordan of the Christian world and therefore the most beautiful of all the brides of Christ!"

3. Do they accept the universality of the Christian anointing amongst Christians (1John 2:20&27).
