Now Ben, are you going to name and shame a few liberal fundamentalists for us?

Aside from those on the local blogosphere:
* Stroppy Labour backbenchers
* The BBC
* The Times (o, yes)
* The Muslim Council of Great Britain (nothing against Muslims obv - just when their advocates refute statistical evidence of anti-Muslim public opinion)
* The Foreign & Commonwealth Office
And lest we forget...
* Stalin

what is liberal fundamentalist? why is it bad?

I think naming bloggers would be annoying people without cause and causing discourse for no good reason
Liberal fundimentalists are the people who rivet themselves to socialist values and convince themseves they're right at the expense of established conservatism and structuralism.
The kind of people who are offended at the term chairman and insist on the word `chairperson` or judicially think everyone is a potential rehabilitant

people like Bill Hicks

Blimey
Still not sure I understand - what do you mean by a potential rehabilitant? what is a habilitant? - what would demonstrate them to be "potential"?
Who is Bill Hicks?
I thought "chairperson" instead of "chairman" was more about policitically correct which at times is beyond silly. Others times its important.
Still cannot see whats wrong with it though. Sounds like its someone with a strong opinion that people don't like - if thats the case whats wrong with that?

Bill Hicks is a stand up `comedian` whose material is limited to
* I don't like G Bush
* I think marajuana is lovely
so students love him, but he's no more than a personified ideal of left wing culture
a potential rehabilitant is someone who has the potential to be rehabilitated form whatever crime it is that hails them to prison, and I think a harsh upsetting truth is that there are people who by choice or habit will never be rehabilitated
political correctness is a politicaly correct term for common sense, like not commenting on someones race or disability when you meet them - but yes - it is all too often taken waaay too far

I'm with Monty.
I hate labels. Kinda removes any flexibility and hope that things or people might be adaptable to change.
To assign myself or others to one socio-political group goes against my natural leanings. If I had to be persuaded it would be a kinda CommunistCapitalistSocialLiberal
